What DeepFakeAI is
DeepFakeAI (fakeai.io, "we") lets you clone your own voice (DeepVoice), make a talking clip from a video of yourself (DeepVideo), or use one of our house characters (DeepMade). You must be 18 or over to use it.
Your own voice and face only
You may clone a voice or a face only if it is yours, or if the person it belongs to has given you clear, documented permission that you can show us on request. When you tick "This is my own voice", record a sample, or complete a consent read, you are telling us that this is true. You are responsible for that statement and for everything made with the result.
What you may not make
- Anything using a voice or likeness without that person's permission, including public figures, politicians and performers.
- Anything sexual, or anything depicting a minor.
- Anything meant to deceive: scams, fake endorsements, fake statements, fraud, impersonating someone to a third party, or passing off a clip as a real recording.
- Harassment, threats, hate, or anything illegal where you or the subject live.
- Removing, hiding or cropping out the AI-generated marking.
Uploads are checked automatically, every generation is logged to the account that made it, and we act on reports within 48 hours. Accounts that break these rules are closed without refund and, where the law requires, reported.
Marking
Free clips carry a visible watermark. All clips, on every plan, carry metadata identifying them as AI-generated. You agree to keep it there.
Your content
You own what you upload and what we make for you. You give us a licence to store and process it only to run the service. We never use it to train models. Delete a voice, character or clip and its files are removed; delete your account and everything goes.
Payments
Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled any time from your Library; cancelling stops the next renewal. Each clip counts against your allowance for one month from the moment you make it, and frees up again once that month has passed. Deleting a clip does not return it to your allowance. Refunds within 14 days if you have not generated a paid clip.
Liability
The service is provided as-is; we do not guarantee any clip will sound or look a particular way. Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months, except where the law does not allow that limit. You indemnify us against claims arising from content you make in breach of these terms.
